Indoor air quality
A targeted surface treatment for suitable newly renovated, furnished or occupied spaces where VOCs, formaldehyde or persistent odours are a concern.

Volatile organic compounds can come from paints, adhesives, composite wood, furniture, finishes and other materials. Formaldehyde is one specific VOC. Concentrations can vary with temperature, humidity, ventilation, product age and occupancy.
Top Shield begins by understanding the renovation history, materials, odour concerns, ventilation and intended use of the space. Where appropriate, readings can help establish a baseline and guide the treatment scope.
The coating is applied to selected compatible surfaces. Under suitable light conditions, the photocatalytic surface is designed to support the decomposition of selected organic pollutants and malodours.

Offices, retail premises and hospitality spaces preparing for occupancy.
Selected classrooms, activity areas and shared indoor environments.
Spaces requiring investigation of materials, ventilation and surface conditions.
A practical project plan may include a site review, identification of likely sources, ventilation checks, baseline measurements, surface selection, preparation, application and agreed follow-up readings. Measurement methods and timing should remain consistent if results are compared.
Source control and ventilation remain important. Coating should form part of an indoor air quality plan, not act as a substitute for removing a strong source or supplying adequate outdoor air.
